dark day spoils the week

When the dark days come they tend to take over. This time they came on Thursday night, whether its warranted or not, it doesn't really matter. I find them difficult to emerge from. I now find myself day's behind! I want to pass on positive encouragement but.....

nights out are like buses - you wait ages and two come along!

At the start of the week I collected my flat cap and whippet and headed over the border to Barnsley for a curry. Access to the restaurant was difficult and could have deterred me but armed with a makeshift ramp and my friends confidence, we successfully negotiated my entrance. As I often find, its usually worth the effort. Great company and delicious food! The following night was a family trip to the theatre, to see War Horse. This was proving to be rather expensive but we managed to save some money by sending Judith and two of the boys upstairs to the cheap seats! As a disabled person I am entitled to discounted tickets to the theatre and other similar attractions. There is a simple form to fill out to allow this and I would recommend that anyone in my situation does this as it saves a lot of money on a trip out and had it not been for this saving then we might not have gone.
