T!te worlds worst shoplifter

After Square Dog was captured we called in a supermarket, most of the staff know me and I find that they’re extremely helpful. I didn’t want much, just a drink and a gaming voucher. (I don’t normally encourage spending money on games at all but I’m making an exception on this occasion due to Harry’s excellent behaviour!)  Anyway as I moved my wheelchair into position, I sensed someone watching me. It was the store security guard, the devil inside of me wanted to make a fuss. Did he really believe I was a shoplifter, I could have had so much fun, if only I had more time?!

A highly trained dog

Following on where we left (bowling) I decided to alight from the minibus in Holmfirth, (It had stopped first!). I was in good time to watch my son’s tennis lesson. All went well, Judith collected Oscar leaving me to take square dog for a run and a paddle in the stream.   Square dog is normally an extremely well behaved pooch but I think that the sun has gone to her head, for half an hour I unsuccessfully attempted to get the greedy mutt back onto her. She much preferred sniffing around looking for food. Luckily some friends came to my rescue. This was second misdemeanour of the day, time for us both to refresh on some training methods.

A squaredogblackpeg day out

This was a fantastic and eventful day out at ten pin bowling with square peg activities. It was action packed and will probably be better described by Mollie (student, volunteering with square peg activities)

Inspirational speaker

Made my inspirational ‘speaker’ debut to a number of police and fire services personnel. It was very well put  together and I even had my own Debbie McGee! I purchased my own microphone kt and  the whole session appeared to go well. After hearing my painful and upsetting stroke story, I can reflect with a massive amount of confidence.

technical isssues

It won’t come as a surprise to anyone who knows me but I have managed to break all of my technical communication devices. This makes writing this blog very difficult, as a result I will be missing some content as a result.

Year of the ‘under’dog

The football World Cup seems to be going the underdogs way. With many favourites going for an early bath, the route to Moscow doesn’t seem to be anywhere near as difficult as it could have been? I must confess before the competition commenced, my England expectations were merely group qualification. They surpassed this by actually winning a penalty shoot against a weak Columbia, who had turned to dirty tactics. I even managed a successful little bet, usually the most I would  bet is £5. Pre tournament I had a fiver on France to win the competition . However with Belgium 0-2 down to Japan the odds on a Belgium victory were very generous. So in a moment of madness I put on £50. A last minute goal  gave Belgium a 3-2 victory and as a result gave me a £320 windfall, that will do nicely!👍🏻
